Guard expands in Denmark - X Automation becomes part of Guard

Guard continues to strengthen its Nordic presence - this time through the acquisition of X Automation, a Danish automation environment with more than 30 years of experience in water, energy, biogas and industry.

For us, this is not merely an acquisition, but a natural next step in building a complete Nordic centre of expertise within automation and digital services.

A professional community that fits together

X Automation and Guard have long worked with the same technologies, the same industries and many of the same values. The collaboration therefore feels more like placing a missing piece in a puzzle than starting something entirely new.

Through the merger, Danish customers gain access to Guard Cloud and a broader service offering within digital insight, data streams and process optimisation. At the same time, X Automation gains access to the expertise and capacity of the wider Guard Group.

This leaves us better equipped to meet the needs of a market facing major investments in infrastructure and digitalisation.

Continuing as before - with more opportunities

All employees and operational owners at X Automation will continue with the company. Customers keep the same people, the same proximity and the same quality - but now with more tools in the toolbox.
